Church Youth Dances and School Events require a great mix of the newer music that is out today. I will work closely with the host to make sure that our music is on their list of acceptable songs to play. I strive to provide a conservative dance atmosphere whenever possible. My professional sound system with a music libary featuring thousands of songs will bring a fun and exciting atmosphere to your event.
How do I stay so current with the hottest tracks on the radio? I use a subscription service that sends new radio edited music in all formats every month. Many radio stations use the exact same service. In fact, I have most of the hits before you even hear them on the radio, so I'm ready to go for your dance. Whether your event is elegant, simple, or extravagant, it will definitely be enjoyed.

How much do you charge?
I base my rates on the service and time I invest in preparing, planning, and performing your event, whereas your guests only see a performance of four to five hours; however, there is much more that is happening behind the scenes. My rates vary depending on your needs. I also offer special discounts depending on the type of event, location, and/or multiple performances. Will my payment be refundable?
While we require payment in advance, it is still 100% refundable, unless cancellation occurs the week prior to the event.
Do you perform at events where there is smoking and/or drinking?
I have a strict policy of not performing at events where there is smoking or drinking. There plently of other DJs available to work in that type of atmosphere. I am not a "club dj," but rather a professional entertainer with conservative values and high moral standards.
Can we come and see you perform at an event?
Unfortunately No, and here's why...every event, big or small requires a great deal of focus, coordination and personalized service. It would be improper to have uninvited strangers (observers) at private affairs. People who hire me expect me to work for them, respect them, their events and their privacy - not use their private moments as public auditions. How many uninvited strangers would you want at your private event? I believe that your event is yours and only the people who you invite should be there. It's that simple. I'm sure that you would expect that same consideration from any DJ you might hire.
Does all your music have clean lyrics?
Yes, all of my music is clean and edited to the FCC broadcast standards for radio airwaves because I obtain the music from the same source used by most radio stations. However, I do not play any music that has suggestive/vulgar lyrics without the express permission of the event host.
Do you let us choose music requests prior to our event?
Absolutely! Actually, I depend on it. While I pride myself on my ability to read a crowd, you can provide me with insight as where to start. You know the musical tastes of family and friends better because you have known them longer. Most importantly, the event should go the way you want.
Will you take requests during our event?
Absolutely! I want you, your family and friends to have a spectacular time dancing to the music everyone loves. I do use judgment as to whether or not some of these requests are appropriate for your event based on the event and your preferences.
How do I compare DJs?
You will want to evaluate the qualities that are important to you.
* Is he on time to your appointments?
* Is he actual DJ? Why or why not?
* What kind of organizational help is he providing?
* What responsibilities is he helping you with at your event?
* Is he dressed and groomed professionally
* Does he listen to you?
* Is he able to understand your needs and concerns?

* What is his price and what do you get for that price?
* Can he provide a list of songs that you can select your music from?
Can I Meet my DJ?
I encourage personal consultations with the DJ. You can find out if the two of you are a correct match and you can take the opportunity to ask questions on how the DJ will handle your event. This also gives you the opportunity to provide the DJ with a list of selected songs you want played at your event. The more control your DJ allows you the better your party will be.
What are the benefits of hiring a DJ over a band?
The DJ will be able to play a lot more of the music you can dance to at a lower price.
What are the differences between hiring a DJ using CDs and one playing MP3s from a computer?
With advanced technological equipment available, a DJ should be able to play both formats. By using a computer, the DJ can find the next song much faster. Although the audio quality is better on a CD, the difference between a CD and MP3 are typically not noticeable to the human ear.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use professional (commercial grade) equipment, both in audio and lighting. A disc jockey's price often (not always) reflects how serious they are about what they do, and in turn often reflects what quality gear they use.
What will my DJ wear at the event?
I dress in suitable attire to compliment your event: Tuxedo for formal events, business casual for private parties (unless directed otherwise).

I know how much time, effort, and expense you have invested in planning the perfect event. Likewise, I also put in much time, effort, and expense into DJing your event.
There are many factors that determine price: specific date of the event, location of event, accessibility of venue, acquisition of music if necessary, length of playtime, interaction involvement, et cetera.
I offer a premium, personalized level of service, which includes great music, professional presentation, and reliability. My prices are a reflection of the services I offer.
